COACH LEE CELESTINO
Coach Lee was a 3X Prep State Placer and 2X National Team Qualifier. He wrestled at Briar Cliff University (IA), followed by Ouachita Baptist University (AR) in college. Coach Lee has also competed at the senior level, qualifying for the 2021 Last Chance Olympic Trials and Senior National Olympic Trials.
Coach Lee started Cowboy/Cowgirl Wrestling Club in 2023 and is USAW Bronze and TEAL certified. Coach Lee is currently in the University of Oklahoma MBA program.
HWC COACHES
Our coaches are an assembly of adults in the Azle area that share the love for wrestling and want to give back to our great sports. You will see the Azle High School and Middle School coaches involved shoulder to shoulder with members of our community that have benefited from this great sport.
We are currently assembling our coaching staff. In order to become a coach in a USA Wrestling Chartered Program, you must complete some basic coursework (it doesn’t take too long), pass a background check, and commit to serving our Azle youth.
This will be a great place for adults to develop friendships with like-minded individuals that love our sport and love working with the youth in our community.

COACH TRAVIS WHEELER
A Dedicated firefighter and former Division 1 Cal State Bakersfield wrestler, Coach Wheeler brings a passion for physical challenges to all areas of life. He is currently training for an ironman, and trying to balance the demands of his career with raising two kids, always striving for excellence both on and off the mat.
COACH RANDON KNOLL
Coach Knoll has been coaching wrestling at AHS for five years. Prior to becoming a coach and teacher, Coach Knoll was a career US Marine. Coach Knoll grew up wrestling in Iowa through his youth and high school years. In his spare time he loves supporting the Iowa Hawkeyes. Coach Knoll is married to his wife Tracey, and has two kids, Braeden and Dylan.
COACH TYLER HARRISON
Coach Harrison has been the Head Boys Wrestling Coach at Azle High School for six years. Prior to coaching in Azle, Coach Harrison coached at the high school and club level in Keller and Round Rock. Coach Harrison grew up wrestling and competing in all three styles of wrestling. He attended UTA and competed in the NCWA for 2 years in college. Coach Harrison is married to his wife, Shelbi, an elementary school teacher. They have three children, baby Sylvie, Madeline (4) and Hayden (14).
COACH JAYSON CONGER
Coach Conger has 30 years of wrestling experience. 20 years competing and 15 years coaching at the youth, club, middle, and high school level. Coach Conger is the Head Girls Coach at Azle High School, where he teaches Health Science courses. Coach Conger is a 2006 graduate of Elmira High School in Elmira, Oregon. After high school Coach Conger joined the United States Air Force where he served 9 years. A majority of that time was as a medic, but included a 4 year tour of duty as a Military Training Instructor. In his free time Coach Conger enjoys watching his children compete in sports, recreational fishing, traveling. Coach Conger and his wife Emily have two children, Brynn (9) and Waylon (8).
